About Chancepixies Rescue:
Mission Statement
We have a non-destruct policy; therefore dogs will stay and be cared for by us, until a new home is found, no matter how long it takes. We believe in treating any animal that comes to us needing veterinary attention, this is done so at our own cost on many occasions. We promote responsible dog ownership; after all owning a pet is a privilege, not a right. Above all we are an independent organisation who aim to provide a professional and caring service, an organisation that believes there is a home for every dog.

Most of the dogs that come into our kennels, originally come in as strays. We are legally bound to keep these dogs for 7 days, to allow time for the owners to be traced and reunited with their pet. However those dogs that, for whatever reason, remain unclaimed are then made available for re-homing, they will remain, and be cared for, at Chancepixies until a suitable home is found. During this time they are the responsibility of Chancepixies who rely soley on donations to care for, and to treat these animals. As such, we ask for a minimum donation of £70 to rehome a dog from us, this is firstly to show a level of commitment from the new owner and secondly, as with every donation we recieve, the money goes towards helping the next dog that comes into our care. |
