Rehoming:
We
rehome to all areas of the country, although the person needs to
become a member of Safehaven first before being eligible to apply to
foster. After applying to foster we have a procedure that is
followed in order to establish whether that person would be a
suitable foster carer for which type of bird.

bit about Safehaven:
Safehaven
Parrot Refuge is a British Registered Charity (No: 1075873) founded
by Christine and Paul Forman, to help birds in distress and in need
of re-homing for many varied reasons.
We
provide homes for companion birds whose owners through bereavement,
disability, old age and many other reasons can no longer give them
the time or the care they require. Birds are also rescued from
cruelty, abandonment and abuse.
We
are very fortunate to have Neil Forbes Bvet.Med.DipECAMS.FRCVS as our
Avian Veterinary Surgeon as well as our Patron.
