Jasper | Moggy
Jasper is a black and white Male. We believe he is around 5 years old. Unfortunately his owners moved away leaving him behind. Neighbours kindly looked after him for as long as they could but now he is looking for a new home. Due to living outside for sometime he is a little timid around strangers however once you have gained his trust he has a very loving nature. He is neutered, vaccinated and up to date with worm and flea treatment. He would be best suited to an adult only home or a home with older children.

Cleo | Domestic Shorthair
Cleo is a friendly, black and white female cat. The last month has been very stressful for her where her owners gave her to a friend and the friend couldn’t look after her so she came to us. We believe her to be approx 5 years old, during her health check at the vets it has been detected that she has a slight heart murmur but this doesn’t affect her at all and the vet says she needs no medication for it. The only other problem is she does have a flea allergy so will needed to be de-flead regularly to prevent her skin becoming itchy. She is a large friendly girl who enjoys a fuss, she is good with other cats and has a nice friendly personality.
She has had her 1st vaccination, been micro chipped, neutered, wormed and de-flead.
We ask for a donation of £65 per cat.

LITTLE KEITH | Domestic Shorthair
Keith is a young neutered male that came into rescue after
a very bad start in life. He was in a
sorry state and needed vet care and lots of kindness and love to help him to
become the lovely cat he is today.
Keith is full of character and would make a great companion animal in
the right home. He has an ongoing tummy
problem which means he needs a special diet but this is no more expensive that
the usual good quality food that you would buy from the pet shop. He is also currently taking a low dose steroid,
which keeps him really well. He really deserves a chance in a home of his own
as we feel he was thrown out at a very early age. We know that Keith is a
special cat and are looking for an especially kind cat-loving owner for him.
If
you wish to know more about Keith then please phone for a chat on 01303 237744.

Ollie | Staffordshire Bull Terrrier
OLLIE
Hi everybody my name is Ollie. I have been spayed, I am about 2 years old and I was born deaf. I am a very happy little girl and I love to play all day long. I am very fit and healthy and need an adult only family who can spend a lot of time exercising me and playing with me with my favourite ball. I know a few hand signals and am quite obedient but I can still learn more if you have the time to do some training with me. It is important that I am an only pet because I would not be happy living with another dog or cat. Like most Terriers I must be kept busy otherwise I get bored quickly, but once I have had my exercise I am happy to sleep in my nice warm basket for a few hours. If you think you have lots of spare time and energy please consider giving me the forever home that I so desperately need. I have been in rescue kennels for months now and although the people here love me and I love them I do need a family to call my own. Lots of Love Ollie. xxxx
Ollie is currently at Boston kennels For more information please call Uncle Chris on 07971 578963 Trudie on 0208 3639634 (email: trudie.james@yahoo.co.uk)

The Doris Banham Charity saves hundreds of pound dogs from destruction every month. If a rescue place cannot be found in time to save a dog’s life, we pay for a temporary boarding place. We would be extremely grateful for a donation to help with boarding costs to continue saving the lives of forgotten pound dogs like Ollie. We are funded solely by donation and 100% of funds are spent on the dogs. All our dogs are neutered, vaccinated and micro-chipped prior to re-homing. We will re-home to anywhere in the country subject to a satisfactory home check.

Todd | Domestic Shorthair
Todd was taken to the vets as a stray with a large abscess on his face, although his only young (approx 2 years old) the vets wanted to put him to sleep as they said he was aggressive and he was un re-homable. Todd is a big, chunky, tabby and white male, he isn’t aggressive but he can be grumpy, he will occasionally hiss and a rare occasion he slaps but this isn’t aggression it is fear and he doesn’t like being penned. He needs to feel secure and when he does he is extremely lovable, has a wonderful purr and even loves his belly rubbed. Todd does need an understanding home without young children, he wants a home he can call his own and a garden as he wants to go out. The perfect home would be the making of this cat and he just deserves a chance. Can you give Todd a new home??
Todd is fully vaccinated, neutered, micro chipped, wormed and de-flead.
We ask for a donation of £65 per cat

Lucky | Moggy
Lucky is a lovely black male aged around fours years. He is quite independent and will be friendly and affectionate –but only on his own terms. He hasn’t had a lot of luck with homes and because of his independence he has had to be returned to us and now seems to get over looked by people wanting to home a cat. He is looking for a home on his own, with no, or possibly older children as an only pet. He would probably be best suited to, possibly either an older couple or single owner prepared to allow him to find his feet slowly, as he will need time to acclimatize to a new home, though he will eventually settle in where he has potential to be a very rewarding and affectionate pet. He is Neutered with Vaccinations, Worming, and flea treatment all up to date.

Nero | Moggy
Nero is a beautiful pure white longhaired male. He keeps himself immaculately clean and knot free, and is aged around 5 - 7 years old. He's a bit shy and comes across as independent however he does like to be stroked when he feels he knows you well enough. Because of his independent attitude he always seems to get over looked when it comes to homes, when all he really wants is a bit of love on his terms. He would ideally be a suited to a quiet home, with experienced owners and no or older children, as an only pet, where he can take his time settling in.
He is neutered, vaccinated and waiting for the right home.

Patch | Moggy
Patch is a Black and White longhaired male. We believe he is between 2-4years old. He has spent much of his life straying and was very matted and full of fleas when he arrived in our care. Due to this he had to have large patches of fur shaved away, which has now grown back. He has been neutered and beginning to adapted to his new surroundings well. He loves to have a fuss made of him and enjoys being groomed. Patch is looking for a quiet home with no young children or dogs. He does not seem to phased by other cats. He will need grooming daily and patient owners who will let him gain confidence in his own time as he will probably suffer from shock a bit when he first moves to his new home.

Muttley | Moggy
Muttley is a friendly easy natured female cat who enjoys being stroked and whilst she will allow herself to be picked up she is quite independent and will never be a cuddly lap cat. Due to this we don’t think she would be suited to a home with very young children and would probably suite an older, quieter, family. She is aged around 8-10 years old and had to come into our care as her owner was regrettably unable to keep pets in their new rented accommodation. She is Neutered, vaccinated wormed and flea treatment up to date and ready for a new home. If you feel you could give Muttley the loving home she deserves

Pepe | Terrier
Pepe is a terrierx, male approx 4 yrs old, he is neutered, up to date
with all his vaccinations, flea and worm treated. We are looking for a foster home for Pepe, could you offer a foster home
without children or dogs, would you like to assess our Pepe. Pepe has
character, he is fun loving and loves to play with his toys. Pepe is
good on the lead and doesn’t pull. Pepe does suffer from stress, he is
very frightened of loud noises or people shouting. So ideally we are
looking for a nice couple, who’s children have left home that can give
Pepe all the love he deserves in a nice quiet environment. Pepe is yet
another dog that was not socialised in the early weeks and months with
other animals or dogs, so he has to have a home on his own. I am sure
with a positive, patient, confident fosterer, Pepe may well be taught
to accept others and become a sociable little fella.
If you would like to know more about our Pepe, don’t hesitate to give us a call. 01732 865530 during 10 to 3, alternatively you could email us on Email Age

Eccles | Labrador Retriever
CAN THIS BE ECCLES LUCKY YEAR
PLEASE CONSIDER HIM AND TALK TO US, WE ARE HAPPY TO PAY ALL BILLS JUST TO GIVE THIS BOY A CHANCE IN A NEW HOME, YOU WILL HAVE OUR FULL SUPPORT. TALK TO US
Eccles is a most handsome Golden Labx, he is approx 6yrs old neutered male. He is up to date with all his vaccinations, flea and worm treatment, ID chipped and we supply six weeks free insurance when any of our animals our adopted. Eccles has had a really bad start to life, he came to us in a terrible state, very thin and extremely nervous and frightened. He had a health check, and was given a few days of good food, love, medical treatment etc. After few days of settling in we took further tests, x-rays etc to see if he was ill, or just neglected due to his weight. He had suffered from the runs since he came. It was later discovered that he had been shot, one pellet by his brain, we gave him full medical attention, and after many months of tender loving care, and showing him humans aren't all bad, and putting on his weight, this lad is ready to find a new home. Eccles would ideally need someone that is very patient, understanding, firm and fair, someone that can give him one to one. Eccles is a very intelligent loving, friendly dog when he knows you, you can understand why he needs time. He has suffered badly by the human race previously, we just can't let this happen again, hence someone that has experienced this type of Trauma in an animal before. Eccles is quite strong on the lead, he is another that was not socialised with both people and other animals. Eccles is a fun loving lad, that needs his confidence to grow, like I said he is very intelligent and eager to learn, he loves plenty of exercise, freedom and fun, he would be an ideal pet for someone living in the country, or has an active outside type of job or living. Eccles has responded very well with our staff, especially our Manager, they have a very good bond, so if you would like to know much more about our boy, please give the rescue a call, 01732 865530.
